WINTER SEASON 2025

The Winter 2025 season has officially wrapped up, marking another exciting chapter for our growing basketball community! Over the past few months, players from all divisions—from Future Stars to All-Stars—hit the courts with passion, energy, and a love for the game.

MILESTONES

  • Added a Second Practice Per Week – To further enhance skill development, players in the league had the opportunity to practice twice per week this season. This extra time on the court gave players more chances to improve their fundamentals and prepare for game day.

  • Launched the Future Stars Division (Ages 3-4) – For the first time, we welcomed our youngest hoopers into the Jr Hoops family! The new Future Stars Division for 3-4-year-olds introduced basketball fundamentals in a fun and engaging environment. The division's first-ever team, the Pandas, made history as the inaugural Future Stars squad!

  • Extended to a 9-Week Season – To maximize game and development opportunities, we added a 9th week to the season, giving players more time to compete and grow on the court.

CHAMPIONS

Congrats to our Winter 2025 Champions! These teams displayed exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination throughout the season, earning their place at the top.

  • Youngsters Division Champions – Sharks 🦈 (7-0) - The Sharks were a dominant force all season, finishing with a perfect 7-0 record and claiming their first-ever championship under Coach Leo. In his first season leading the team, Coach Leo guided the Sharks to an impressive 14-7 victory over the Tigers in the championship game. The team’s defensive intensity and fast-paced play set them apart, and their ability to execute in big moments secured their place in Jr Hoops history. This championship marks a milestone for both the team and their coach, as Coach Leo earns his first Jr Hoops title!

  • Rising Stars Division Champions – Spartans ⚔️ (6-1) - The Spartans fought their way to a championship with a 6-1 record, showing resilience and discipline throughout the season. Their final showdown against the Wildcats was a thriller, with the Spartans coming out on top in a 20-23 battle. Their ability to execute under pressure, knock down key shots, and play tough defense helped them emerge victorious in one of the most competitive games of the season.

  • All-Stars Division Champions – Bears 🐻 (6-1) - The Bears took the All-Stars Division by storm, finishing the season 6-1 and securing the championship in a hard-fought 34-30 victory over the Raptors. This season also marked a new chapter for the team, as they thrived under Coach Mike, who brought fresh energy and leadership to the squad. The Bears’ dominant inside presence, perimeter shooting, and strong rebounding helped them grind out close games all season. Their championship victory was a testament to their team chemistry and resilience, and with Coach Mike at the helm, the Bears proved they are a powerhouse in the All-Stars Division.
