SPRING SEASON 2025

Gear up for an action-packed spring season with Jr Hoops! Our program is designed to provide a supportive and encouraging environment where players of all skill levels can shine. Experience fun-filled practices, inclusive games, and a welcoming community that makes every moment on the court memorable.

WHAT’S NEW?

This season we’ve added an extra week (10 weeks total) 👍

FEATURES

  • Top performers at the end of the season will be referred to tryout for our travel club affiliate, LA Select.

WHO

  • All skill levels (Advanced players will be asked to play up a division).

  • Boys & Girls (Co-ed)

WHEN

March 3 - May 10, 2025

Practices

  • Start Date: Week of March 3

  • Frequency: 18–20 practices (2 per week, each lasting 1 hour)

  • Days & Times: Mondays-Fridays: 4pm-9pm, Sundays: 12pm-4pm

  • Practice Preferences: Parents can specify preferred practice days on the registration form.

Games

  • Number of Games: 7–9 games (1 per week)

  • Game Days: Saturdays, between 9am-6pm

    • Game Dates: 3/15, 3/22, 3/29, 4/5, 4/12, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10

    • Bye Week: Week 1 (No games)

    • No Games/Practices: Easter Weekend (April 19–20)

Note: Future Stars Division (<K) does not participate in games and has (1) practice per week

We feature 4 co-ed divisions including:

  • Future Stars Division: <K

  • Youngsters Division: K-2nd grade

  • Rising Stars Division: 3rd-5th grade

  • All-Stars Division: 6th-8th grade

COST

Membership

  • Early Bird (1/13-2/10): $430

  • Regular (2/11-3/2): $450

  • Late (3/3-3/16): $470

EVALUATIONS / PARENT MEETING

All participants must attend our evaluation session for team placement. This session is essential to maintain a well-balanced and competitive league.

FAQ

  • Are the evaluations a tryout? No, everyone will be placed on a team.

  • If my child missed evaluations, can they still join? Absolutely! Simply provide a detailed description of your child’s experience on the registration form, and we'll ensure they're placed on the right team.

  • Can I request a practice day / time? Welcome to submit a request. We can’t guarantee any request but we’ll try our best.

  • Can I request that my child be placed on the same team as his friends? Welcome to submit a request. We can’t guarantee the request since we need to evaluate every player to make sure the teams are balanced.

  • Is the 2nd practice optional? Can my child only attend 1 practice per week at a discounted rate? No, both practices are required.

  • If I miss a practice can I make it up or get a refund? No, our memberships are seasonal not per practice. We don’t offer makeup practices or refunds for missed practices.

  • What if my child participates in the upcoming LA Select tryouts and makes the team? If this takes place before the start of the Jr Hoops season, we’ll offer you a full refund and transfer your account to LA Select.
